Malik Anthony Nembhard is a sole practitioner focused on Employment Law, Civil Litigation, and Sports & Entertainment. Before establishing his own firm, he trained and practised across some of Toronto's leading entertainment, media, and litigation boutiques; he brings that depth to every file he takes on.
His litigation practice covers the full arc of civil and employment matters, from pleadings and production through mediation and settlement, across the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario, the Divisional Court, and various administrative tribunals. In the sports and entertainment space, he advises on commercial transactions, intellectual property, and disputes, and serves as Counsel at Lucentem Sports & Entertainment Law PC.
He holds a Juris Doctor from the Lincoln Alexander School of Law at Toronto Metropolitan University, recipient of the Black Excellence Award and the Trail Blazer Award, and an Honours B.A. in Criminology and Sociology with a Minor in Social Justice from the University of Windsor.
